The firefighters are spearheading a countywide appeal to help 47-year-old Dave, who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and is currently having to find £2,100 every few weeks for a drug to prolong his life.
Next Thursday, March 25 , there will be a fundraising Party Night from 9pm - 1am at Euphoria in Leominster featuring Rob Parker's All Star Disco and local band, The Limit.

A family's plans to convert a crumbling Grade II listed chapel in Seend Cleeve into a four bedroom home have been scuppered by the refusal of planning permission.
Councillors on Wiltshire Council's eastern area planning committee were split about the proposed conversion of the former Methodist chapel and building of an extension by Julian Mattock, who currently lives in Bath but whose family have lived in Seend Cleeve for several generations.

THE Erewash Canal appears to have returned to form after several weeks with very few bites.
Anglers have struggled to catch on the stretch at Trent Lock in recent weeks.
But the Open match held there at the weekend, which was a practice for the forthcoming Erewash Valley League, produced an average weight of over 4lb per angler.

A court hearing to set a trial date for Otto Hansen, who faces a charge of first-degree murder, has been adjourned for the fourth time.
The closed management pretrial conference was held at the Court of the Queen's Bench on Thursday.

Molly Auld, Marie Barker and Geraldine Reeve by five ends were 9-0 up and by nine ends 13-1 up as they went on to win 15-3.
Margaret Arnold, Gwyn Xuereb and Melanie Haylett were 3-5 at five ends 7-9 at eight and 10 each at 11, then holding three shots the opposing skip hit a bowl on to the jack and the Acle girls scored a seven and won 18-10.
